Wood-based Panels Producing Industry

Modern wood-based panels are meanwhile essential to everyday life. Whether particleboard, MDF- or OSB-board, they are to be found in all kinds of applications on the market. For example as building material for house constructions, as packaging material or as furniture boards and ceiling- or floor paneling. Not only are the pressing and the gluing processes important but above all the quality of the wood chips, wood flakes or strands which are being used.

Pallmann size reduction machines for wood such as the knife ring flaker, refiner or the long log flaker, integrated into complete systems, provide for constant quality of the wood chips or wood fibers at high throughput rates. Drum chippers, hammer mills, drum debarkers, rotor debarkers and chip washing systems round off the scope of supply. Pallmann supplies complete wood yard systems from feeding of the raw material to transport of the processed wood chips and fibers into silos or bunkers.

Knife Ring Flaker PZKR

The Pallmann Knife Ring Flaker PZKR is used for dry- and wet preparation of chips into flakes at best possible consistent flake geometry and -quality. Flakes so produced are optimally suitable for particleboard production.
